What is Goods in Transit & Tools Insurance?

This type of insurance is provided as a combined policy where for one single premium the policy protects you for your own goods and tools whilst in transit and, depending on details of the policy, 24 hours a day.

Any goods or tools that are owned by you are at risk of being stolen, lost or damaged and this cover includes:

• Accidental damage, fire and theft
• Personal effects cover
• Removal/disposal of damaged goods/debris
• Optional trailer cover

The cost to replace tools and/or goods can be expensive, and the loss of work as result of not being able to carry out your duties could cost you even more, so make sure you get the right
